I WILL be telling everyone and anyone to go here. John Berena came highly recommended by a few people in the automotive industry. I bought a van with some pretty bad wiring, needed a kill switch to keep the battery alive, stalled out when using headlights, etc.
I took the van to a few other shops/home mechanics who either recommended John or flat out refused to work on the electrical. I picked the van up this morning and drove it around town running errands. The wiring is much cleaner, the kill switch has been removed, and headlights can be used. Amazing work at a fair price.
Well I was just blown away. I took my H2 in there a few weeks ago to get break lines done. The job went well except the guys forgot to refill the break fluid , which they fixed right away when I came back, but the worst part was the arm rest on my driver side door was ripped off and placed in the door storage bin by one of the employees using it to pull himself in the car as it was on the lift........ So your asking yourself, why the heck did I give 5 stars? Well any owner has to deal with employees that don't perform to par. It's what the owners do about it that separates them. I called to ask about getting another job done, and the replacement part for the door which he said he would take care of. Unfortunately he couldn't get the part so we are just "gluing" it back on......but here's the kicker....my next repair will be labor free. John certainly didn't have to do that, and 99% of most shops wouldn't. It's rare to find that kind of integrity in the Automotive industry. Needless to say he's got my business for life. I feel comfortable knowing someone like this is the "Doctor" for my family's vehicles. So if your looking for a shop, I can confirm that John is someone you can trust.
