Dated facility with confusing entry/exit system. Rooms needed cleaning. Walls are thin, so sound carries. Heat is too powerful and overheats the room, but because the walls are so thin, it cools down way too fast. Parking is difficult, restrictive and far too small. The price was good and the staff are nice, that's about it.
Check-in was easy, desk clerk quirky & funny. Hotel/room on the older side, few tattered items but overall good condition. Plenty of space in room, bed comfy and pillows plump. 2 sinks made easy task of getting ready with spouse. Nice bathroom with 2 shower heads in shower. Toilet rocked a bit, seemed like it needed some work on it. Great TV and many channels. Good location near several amenities. Not too close to freeway but only a short drive.
The room was fantastic and clean, but more importantly the staff was super nice and accommodating. I got locked out of my room and they let me back in quite cheerily. They also accept dogs under ten pounds, though they aren't going around weighing small dogs like checked baggage. Theres also some greens pace for the dogs to do their business. The only downside was a musty smell in the halls and rooms. Overall it was a great experience.
The staff was friendly and helpful and my room was okay, clean and with all of the necessary amenities. The bed was comfortable and nicely made every day. Unfortunately, even though all the rooms were non-smoking, my neighbors were smoking and the smell permeated my room, probably through the ventilation. They were also noisy and had loud conversations outside my door in the wee hours of the morning. I didn't complain but I should have.
The rooms were very old fashioned and had a weird smell. There were cigarette ashes on the floor by the curtain, even though the room was supposedly non smoking. There were a few small holes in the curtains that looked like burn holes. The tub was slightly dirty but it looked like a stain. We requested late checkout but got a rude phone call from the front desk at 11:07 saying we were supposed to be out of the 11, the normal checkout time.
